Sinead Fitzgerald is an Irish/New Zealander actress known for her portrayal of Holo-Beatrice in Netflix’s futuristic series Cowboy Bebop.
Sinead was originally trained as a martial artist, competing in interclub competitions and achieving her final ranking as a black belt in karate. She is also a trained singer, having started her acting journey in musicals.
Her talent was spotted early on when Director Derek Cianfrance cast her in his film The Light Between the Oceans. Coming onto set, Derek presented her with a script, and she was immediately placed into a scene opposite
Academy Award Winner Rachel Weisz.
Sinead has gone on to win Acting Awards at the LA Independent Shorts Festival, Europe Film Festival, Sweden Film Awards, and The London Film & Television Festival, New Zealand 48hour film festival.
She can currently be seen in multiple seasons of Acorn TV’s The Brokenwood Mysteries, My Life Is Murder, and South Pacific Picture’s Shortland Street."
